What our clients are saying
“I conduct several clinical trials through my medical practice and enjoy being a part of drug development. Early in my site’s clinical research history, study awards were infrequent, and our research staff turn-over was recurrent. Fortunately, I was contacted by Carolyn Stroud, to explore clinical research training needs and quality enhancement solutions. As a certified clinical research professional and experienced trainer, Ms. Stroud educated my study coordinators and sub-investigator on GCP-ICH regulations, clinical research practices, and reinforced our infrastructure. Believe it or not, I have maintained the same study staff for over 12 years! Carolyn, thank you for your expert training and guidance.”
What our clients are saying
“Carolyn is a clinical research training and mentoring expert who creates psychological safety in life science team environments for C-suite executives and clinical research associates alike. Her approach is of genuine caring and empathy to produce the highest quality performance in individuals and multi-disciplinary teams. Her breadth of knowledge ranges from writing SOPs, to training new staff, to implementing new policies and procedures, and to identifying areas of individual or team improvement. She does this with a flare of inspiring people to grow and learn new things, and to be a part of a higher purpose. I highly endorse Carolyn and her company to place talent, improve resourcing training and performance, communicate best practices in clinical research, and to create efficiencies in any CRO or life science / sponsor company. She is a real gem.”
What our clients are saying
“To prepare one of BCR’s research sites for an upcoming site visit by one of our major Clients, our team needed professional support to provide GCP training. I received an industry KOL recommendation to contact Vigor, a training and clinical trial resource placement ‘dynamo’. Vigor provided expert GCP training to the site’s Coordinators, PI, Sub-I’s, and support staff. In addition, Vigor provided additional insight to their recently hired RNs, who were new to the Coordinator role. Organizationally, Vigor assessed the site’s infrastructure, and proposed solutions to improve their research operations. Thanks to Vigor support, BCR was awarded the study. Having Vigor there to consult and train us greatly influenced our success.”
What our clients are saying
“I graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2018 with a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering. Upon graduation, I explored numerous career options and became increasingly interested in the rewarding field of clinical research management. Unfortunately, I had no working experience in the field. Even though I had a Ph.D. in a very translational field I had zero luck in breaking into the clinical research field even at the entry-level. I went to multiple networking events and made numerous connections. My connections were kind enough to inform me of different job postings at their respective companies, unfortunately these opportunities seldom panned out. My luck turned around at a North Carolina Biotechnology Center networking event, where I had the pleasure of being introduced to Carolyn Stroud, CEO of Vigor Biopharma. Vigor provided me with the tools necessary to become well-versed in clinical research, good clinical practices, and career paths in the field. I was also introduced to clinical research organizations, such as the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), and senior associates in clinical research management. Thanks to the tools and connections provided to me by Vigor, I not only was contacted to interview for a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) position with a contract research organization (CRO) but I also excelled in the interview and was offered the position. I would like to personally thank Carolyn Stroud for taking the time to help me prepare for the interview and assisting in my career placement. I greatly benefited from the services provided by Vigor Biopharma and would recommend them to anyone looking to break into the field of clinical research. Ultimately, I turned down the CRA opportunity for a laboratory management position at UNC Chapel Hill Dept. of Biomedical Engineering, but I am grateful for the knowledge I have gained in clinical research and am excited to utilize it in a teaching and hospital setting."
What our clients are saying
“I met Carolyn, the CEO of Vigor Biopharma Solutions via LinkedIn. I was excited to meet a fellow female entrepreneur and hoped to network in the future. Carolyn reached out to me for an opportunity to speak with her current class of students that were learning about what it means to be a CRA. There were areas in Carolyn’s curriculum based around Regulatory Affairs. She asked me if I would come and speak to her students; especially those interested in Regulatory. I was impressed with the knowledge the students already had regarding Regulatory Affairs. Their current course work was very detailed and I was able to give real world examples of my experience and what it means to be a RA professional. They asked amazing questions and we had a great dialogue. I was very thankful to Carolyn for creating that opportunity for me and my company not only to learn about her, her students, and her company; but to really display my thoughts and experiences around Regulatory Affairs. I’m very passionate about my profession and I could tell the students were ready to learn about both the medical device and pharmaceutical world. I highly recommend individuals looking into making a career move into Clinical Research, or just want to be more knowledgeable regarding Clinical and Regulatory strategies to get in contact with Vigor. The coursework is robust and an added value to any clinical professional."
